A quick guide to replacing the PaH Cassette
Tools and equipment needed
Phillips Screwdriver
New PaH cassette
Please ensure the system is completely powered down before opening the ESM measuring cell.

Method
1. Download log history: Insert USB, select data range, and click download.
2. Shut down power to the ESM unit via the main breaker on the side of the enclosure (wait 3
minutes for system to completely shut down).
3. Open cabinet door.
4. Locate Smart ESM measuring cell.
5. Remove cell cover with the Philips screwdriver.
6. Remove 5 pin plug from the bottom of the PaH cassette
Take note of the orientation of the plug
7. Carefully pull the cassette until it slides out of the measuring cell.
New PaH Cassette Installation
To install the new PaH cassette, follow these steps in reverse order from the previous section:
1. Insert the new PaH cassette, ensuring the serial number is visible for documentation.
Ensure that the cassette is properly seated above the black block.
2. Reconnect the 5-pin plug securely.
3. Replace and fasten the cell lid.
4. Restore power to the unit.
5. Verify that the ESM computer module recognizes the new PaH cassette by checking that the PaH tile is present and blue.
