ODME- Zener Barrier PCB replacement procedure

How to remove and replace the Zener Barrier PCB

Tools Required

7mm socket for M4 nuts 

Small flat blade screw driver

Instruction 

There are 10 wires connected to the terminals on the right hand side of the PCB. you will need to 
mark each wire with the terminal number that it is inserted into. (TP1 – TP10) 

1. Isolate the power to the Zener Barrier Solenoid Module and wait for the LEDs to extinguish before starting any work. 

Anti-static precautions should be adhered to when handling the PCB

2. Taking care to record which wire is removed from which terminal, remove all 10 wires from the terminals on the right hand side of the PCB, . 

3.Remove the ribbon cable connector from the socket on the left hand side of the PCB. 

4. Use the 7mm socket to remove the 5 x M4 nuts.

5. Remove the PCB

 

New PCB installation

1. Refit the new PCB in reverse order to removal of the old PCB.

2. De-isolate the power to the Zener Barrier/Solenoid Module.

3. Retest the system.
