A quick guide to replacing the Turbidity Cassette
Tools and equipment needed
Phillips Screwdriver
New Turbidity Cassette
Please ensure the system is completely powered down before opening the ESM measuring cell.

Method
1. Download log history: Insert USB, select data range, and click download.
2. Shut down power to the ESM unit via the main breaker on the side of the enclosure (wait 3
minutes for system to completely shut down).
3. Open cabinet door.
4. Locate Smart ESM measuring cell.
5. Remove cell cover with the Philips screwdriver.
6. Remove 5 pin plug from the bottom of the Turbidity cassette
Take note of the orientation of the plug
7. Carefully pull the cassette until it slides out of the measuring cell.
New Turbidity Cassette Installation
To install the new Turbidity cassette, follow these steps in reverse order from the previous section:
1. Insert the new Turbidity cassette, ensuring the serial number is visible for documentation.
2. Reconnect the 5-pin plug securely.
3. Replace and fasten the cell lid.
4. Restore power to the unit.
5. Verify that the ESM computer module recognizes the new Turbidity cassette be checking the Turbidity tile is present and blue.
