PCB Replacing Procedure
1. Perform an IMO download

- Within the main menu
- > View IMO Data
- > Dump IMO data
- Wait for the dump to finish
2. Isolate all power

- hazardous voltages are present within the enclosure, please ensure no work is done until power has been isolated.
3. Remove the front cover of the control module
-
- Unscrew the four bolts holding the front cover on the module.
- Make note of where the display screen cable plugs into the PCB and disconnect it, this will free up the front cover.
- Place the front cover, gasket and the 4 bolts to one side.
- Unscrew the four bolts holding down the clear plastic shield, remove them and the shield .
- Unscrew the four bolts holding the front cover on the module.
4. Record all wiring

- Photograph or make a note of all the wiring within the enclosure.
- Ensure the PCB header locations for each cable is known.
5. Remove all wiring that connects to the PCB

- Ensure all headers are removed from the PCB and there is sufficient room to fit the new PCB.
6. Unscrew the four studs that hold the control module to the backplate.
7. Safely store the removed old control module PCB.
8. Refit the new control module PCB

- Reverse steps 6 & 5 with the new PCB
9. Reconnect all wiring as removed previously.

- Reconnect all the headers to the PCB recorded in step 4.
10. Check that the power jumper is not fitted for 110/230Vac power supplier or fitted for 24Vac power supplies.

11. Double check all wiring and fixings are secure and correct.

- An incorrect connection could cause faults or damage to the analyser.
12. Refit the front cover
-
- Reverse step 3 to refit the clear plastic shield and front cover.
12. Power the analyser.

- Ensure the front cover is securely fitted before powering.
